Torque Specifications
Connecting Rod Bolts
Standard Diameter
6.6 - 6.7 mm (0.260 - 0.264 inch)
Minimum Diameter
6.4 mm (0.252 inch)
Tightening Torque:
1st
20 N-m (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
2nd
Turn 90°
Apply a light coat of engine oil on the threads and under the heads of the
connecting rod cap bolts.
Install and alternately tighten the 2
connecting rod cap bolts in several passes.
