Component Inspection
1. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR2. INSPECT AMPLIFIER CIRCUIT
a. Disconnect the amplifier and inspect the connector on wire harness side, as shown in the chart.
Test conditions:
- Ignition switch ON
- Temperature control lever MAX COOL
- Blower control lever HI
If the circuit is not as specified, inspect the circuits connected to other parts.
b. Connect the connector to A/C amplifier and inspect wire harness side connector form the back side, as shown in the chart.
Test conditions:
- Running engine at idle speed
- A/C switch ON
- Temperature control lever MAX COOL
- Blower control lever HI
- Set on manifold gauge set
If the circuits is as specified, replace the amplifier. If the circuits is as specified, inspect the circuits connected to other parts.
