Heater Core: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT FROM RADIATOR

HINT: It is not necessary to drain out all the coolant.

2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL
3. REMOVE REINFORCEMENT
4. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE




5. REMOVE HEATER RADIATOR
a. Remove the screw and piping clamp.
b. Remove the 2 screws, 2 clamps and 2 heater radiator pipes from the heater radiator.
c. Pull out the heater radiator.
d. Remove 2 0-rings from heater radiator pipes.

HINT:
At the time of installation, please refer to the following item.
Do not reuse 2 0-rings.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal
