Crankshaft Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection
INSPECT CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR a.
Remove the sensor.
b.
Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminals NE and NE-.
Resistance:
Cold
1,630 - 2,740 kohms Hot
2,065 - 3,225 kohms If the resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.
c.
Reinstall the sensor.
