Rear Wiper And Washer
REMOVAL1. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM
a. Remove the assist strap hole cover, bolt and assist strap.
b. Using a screwdriver, remove the back door trim.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
2. REMOVE PLATE
a. Remove the 9 screws and plate.
b. Disconnect the connector.
3. REMOVE BACK DOOR GLASS RUN
4. REMOVE OUTER WEATHERSTRIP
5. REMOVE BACK DOOR GLASS
Remove the 6 bolts and door glass.
6. REMOVE REAR WIPER ARM
Remove the nut, wiper arm and washer with packing.
7. REMOVE REAR WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Unfasten the 3 wiper motor set bolts, and remove the wiper motor assembly.
8. REMOVE WASHER NOZZLE
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL WASHER NOZZLE
2. INSTALL REAR WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY
a. Install the rear wiper motor assembly with the 3 wiper motor set bolts.
Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf)
b. Connect the connector.
3. INSTALL REAR WIPER ARM
a. Install the washer with packing.
b. Operate the wiper once and turn the wiper switch OFF and install the wiper arm.
c. When assembling the rear wiper arm, slide the slider 10 mm (0.39 in.) to the lower side, and tighten the wiper arm set nut with the step liner on the block, as shown in the illustration.
Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf)
4. INSTALL BACK DOOR GLASS
5. INSTALL OUTER WEATHERSTRIP
6. INSTALL BACK DOOR GLASS RUN
7. INSTALL PLATE
8. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM
