Throttle Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR [89452G / 96-40]
Resistance inspection.
1. Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector.
2. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminals VC and E2.

Resistance: 2.5 - 5.0 Kohms

3. Check the change of resistance between terminals VTA and E2.

HINT:

Change of resistance: The resistance value increases in proportion to the throttle lever opening value.
