TDT SOFTWARE UPDATING PROCESS FROM CD

Introduction

TDT (Toyota Diagnostic Tester) programming is an ongoing process which allows dealerships to maintain the latest technology installed within the TOYOTA family of products.

The need to update the software in a timely manner and reduce the down time for the use of the TDT in dealerships has been addressed with the accompanying CD. Using this CD, a dealership may now be able to update the TDT software at the dealership.

Please note that this reprogramming process can only be completed if you have Windows 95, 98 or 2000 software.





Process Overview

TDT software reprogramming is a 3-step process:

1. Download and install Software Update Wizard (SUW) from the CD to your PC. The Software Update Wizard is a new application that will allow you to update your TDT program card with the latest software version.
2. Download data files from CD
3. Reprogram the TDT program card with the latest software version from the CD.
