Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

DTC CLEARANCE (ERASE MODE)

NOTE: This is the only information provided by the manufacturer for clearing diagnostic trouble codes for this system.

The following operations will erase the DTCs and freeze frame data.
1. Operating the OBDII scam tool (complying with SAE J1978) or hand-held tester to erase the codes. (See the OBDII scan tool's instruction book for operating instructions.)
2. Disconnecting the battery terminals or EFI fuse.
