INTRODUCTION:
Under certain driving conditions when the ambient temperature is below 32°F (0°C) some 2002 model year Camry vehicles with the 1MZ--FE engine may exhibit a M.I.L. "ON" condition with DTC P1125, P1128 or P1129 stored in the ECM memory. To improve cold weather performance and reduce the possibility for M.I.L. "ON," the Throttle Body Assembly, Throttle Body Gasket and Intake Air Surge Tank have been updated.

APPLICABLE VEHICLES:
- 2002 model year Camry vehicles with 1MZ-FE that exhibits M.I.L. "ON" with DTC P1125, P1128 or P1129 in ambient temperatures below 32°F (0°C).

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
Refer to ETAS or the appropriate Repair Manual procedure for diagnosis of the specific MIL "ON" DTC present. Confirm that the ambient temperature during the MIL "ON" was below 32°F (0°C). After performing diagnosis for the specific MIL "ON" DTC, if no trouble is found, proceed with replacement of the Throttle Body Assembly, Throttle Body Gasket and Intake Air Surge Tank utilizing the current part numbers provided above.
