4. Low Vibration and Low Noise Body

General

Effective application of vibration damping and noise suppressant materials reduces engine and road noise.

Sound Absorbing and Vibration Damping Materials





^ Asphalt sheets are applied to most of the floor areas to suppress the road noise.

^ A dash insulator is used to suppress the transmission of the engine noise to the interior.





^ Sponge and foamed material have been allocated to the appropriate areas to reduce wind noise.

^ The holes in the inner pillar panel have been covered with a sheet to reduce wind noise.





^ On all models, a weather strip has been provided at the front edge of the engine hood to make the engine hood flush with the radiator grille in order to reduce the wind noise.
