INSPECTION

1. HEADLAMP DIMMER SWITCH ASSY(W/FOG LIGHT)




a. Inspect light control switch continuity.




1. Check that the continuity between terminals at each switch position, as shown in the chart.

b. Inspect headlight dimmer switch continuity.




1. Check that the continuity between terminals at each switch position, as shown in the chart.

c. Inspect turn signal switch continuity.




1. Check that the continuity between terminals at each switch position, as shown in the chart.

d. Inspect front fog light switch continuity.




1. Check that the continuity between terminals at each switch position, as shown in the chart.

2. HEADLAMP DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (W/O FOG LIGHT)




a. Inspect light control switch continuity.




1. Check that the continuity between terminals at each switch position, as shown in the chart.

b. Inspect headlight dimmer switch continuity.




1. Check that the continuity between terminals at each switch position, as shown in the chart.

HINT: Turn headlight dimmer switch to "HEAD" when checking "LOW BEAM" and "HI BEAM"

c. Inspect turn signal switch continuity.




1. Check that the continuity between terminals at each switch position, as shown in the chart.

3. CIRCUIT ASSY, SWITCH
a. Inspect hazard warning signal switch.
1. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal A10-2 and A10-12 of A/C amplifier connector and negative (-) lead to terminal A10-11.
2. Push the hazard warning switch and check that the voltage is battery positive voltage.

4. ROOM LAMP ASSY NO.1
a. Inspect room lamp No.1 continuity.
1. Check that the continuity between terminals at each switch position, as shown in the chart.




Standard:

5. ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSY (W/SLIDING ROOF)
a. Inspect map lamp continuity.
1. Check that the continuity exists between terminals 1 and 3, when switch is operated.
Standard:
ON: Continuity
OFF: No continuity

6. ROOM LAMP ASSY NO.2
a. Inspect room lamp No.2 continuity.
1. Check that the continuity between terminals at each switch position, as shown in the chart.




Standard:

7. FRONT DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH ASSY
a. Inspect front door courtesy lamp switch continuity.
1. Check that the continuity exists between terminal 1 and body ground, when switch is operated.
Standard:
ON (When shaft is pressed): No continuity
OFF (When shaft is not pressed): Continuity

8. REAR DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH ASSY
a. Inspect rear door courtesy lamp switch continuity.
1. Check that the continuity exists between terminal 1 and body ground, when switch is operated.
Standard:
ON (When shaft is pressed): No continuity
OFF (When shaft is not pressed): Continuity

9. SWITCH, COURTESY LAMP
a. Inspect back door courtesy lamp switch continuity.
1.Check that the continuity exists between terminal A-1 and A-2, when switch is operated.
Standard:
ON (When shaft is pressed): No continuity
OFF (When shaft is not pressed): Continuity

10. VANITY LAMP ASSY RH
a. Inspect vanity lamp continuity.
1. Check that the continuity exists between terminal.
Standard: Continuity exists

11. VANITY LAMP ASSY RH
a. Inspect vanity lamp continuity.
1. Check that the continuity exists between terminal.
Standard: Continuity exists

12. HEADLAMP RELAY







a. Inspect relay continuity.

13. DAY TIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY NO.2







a. Inspect relay continuity.

14. DAY TIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY NO.3







a. Inspect relay continuity.

15. DAY TIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY NO.4







a. Inspect relay continuity.

16. TAIL LAMP RELAY







a. Inspect relay continuity.
