Convertible Top: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION

1. INSPECT WATER LEAKAGE
Check from the outside of the vehicle that there is no water leakage.
1. When watering with hose, do not squeeze the hose.
2. There is a possibility of water leakage even in a normal condition if you water under the tarpaulin.

NOTE: In case that water leaks, check and adjust the door glass and tarpaulin alignment.

2. INSPECT TARPAULIN COVER FOR PROPER TENSION AND CREASES
Tarpaulin cover tension checking.
By making the tarpaulin in a fallopian condition, check the tension of the cover visually and by touching.

NOTE: Depending on the tension or wrinkling condition, re-spread the cover.

3. INSPECT TARPAULIN COVER




a. Inspect a gap of the roof drip moulding.






NOTE: In case that it is out of the standard range, adjust or replace the roof drip moulding.




B. Measure the roof header.

Standard measurement:
A: 0 ± 2.0 mm (0.079 in.)
B: 0 ± 2.0 mm (0.079 in.)

NOTE: In case that it is out of the standard range, adjust the tarpaulin assembly.
