Headliner: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. REMOVE REAR SEATS
2. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE
3. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATES
4. REMOVE ROOM LIGHT AND COVER
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the room light cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Remove the 2 screws and room light, then disconnect the connector.
5. REMOVE ASSIST GRIPS AND COVERS
6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATES
7. REMOVE SUN VISORS
Remove the 4 screws and 2 sun visors.
8. REMOVE ROOF CONSOLE BOX
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the roof console cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Remove the 3 screws and roof console box, then disconnect the connector.
9. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM
a. Remove the bolt and rear seat outer belt floor anchor.
b. Remove the 5 screws.
c. Using a screwdriver, remove the deck side trim.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
d. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
e. LH side:
Disconnect the connector.
10. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISHES
a. Remove the bolt and rear seat outer belt shoulder anchor.
b. Remove the 3 clips.
c. Using a screwdriver, remove the roof side inner garnish.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
d. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
11. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISHES
a. Remove the bolt and front seat outer belt floor anchor.
b. Pull the center pillar lower garnish upward to remove it.
c. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
12. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR UPPER GARNISHES
a. Remove the bolt and front seat outer belt shoulder anchor.
b. Using a screwdriver, remove the center pillar upper garnish.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
c. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
13. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISHES
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the front pillar garnish.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
14. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the roof headlining trim garnish.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Remove the 2 sun visor holders.
c. Remove the 4 room partition net hooks.
d. Remove the 4 clips and roof headlining.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING
a. Install the 2 sun visor holders.
b. Install the roof headlining with the 4 clips.
HINT: When installing the roof headlining, put the fastener tapes.
c. Install the 4 room partition net hooks.
d. Install the roof headlining trim garnish.
2. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISHES
a. Install the front pillar garnish to the body.
b. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
3. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR UPPER GARNISHES
a. Install the center pillar upper garnish to the body.
b. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
4. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISHES
a. Install the front seat outer belt shoulder anchor with the bolt.
Torque: 43 N.m (440 kgf.cm, 32 ft.lbf)
b. Install the center pillar lower garnishes.
c. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
5. INSTALL ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISHES
a. Install the front seat outer belt floor anchor with the bolt.
Torque: 43 N.m (440 kgf.cm, 32 ft.lbf)
b. Install the roof side inner garnish with the 3 clips.
c. Install the rear seat outer belt shoulder anchor with the bolt.
Torque: 43 N.m (440 kgf.cm, 32 ft.lbf)
d. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
6. INSTALL DECK SIDE TRIM
a. LH side:
Connect the connector.
b. Install the deck side trim with the 5 screws.
c. Install the rear seat outer belt floor anchor with the bolt.
Torque: 43 N.m (440 kgf.cm, 32 ft.lbf)
d. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
7. INSTALL ROOF CONSOLE BOX
a. Connect the connector, then install the roof console box with the 3 screws.
b. Install the roof console box cover.
8. INSTALL SUN VISORS
Install the 2 sun visors with the 4 screws.
9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATES
10. INSTALL ASSIST GRIPS AND COVERS
11. INSTALL ROOM LIGHT AND COVER
a. Connect the connector, then install the room light with the 2 screws.
b. Install the room light cover.
12. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATES
13. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE
14. INSTALL REAR SEATS
