TORQUE SPECIFICATION

Cylinder Head





Install and uniformly tighten the cylinder head bolts on each cylinder head in several passes and in the sequence shown, then repeat for the other side, as shown.
Torque: 54 Nm (550 kgf-cm, 40 ft. lbs.) initial + 90°
If any of the cylinder head bolts does not meet the torque specification, replace the cylinder head bolt.

Oil Pump
Install the oil pump with the 9 bolts. Uniformly tighten the bolts in several passes.
Torque:
10 mm head: 8 Nm (80 kgf-cm, 69 inch lbs.)
12 mm head: 19.5 Nm (200 kgf-cm, 14 ft. lbs.)

Water Pump
Install a new gasket and the water pump with the 4 bolts and 2 nuts.
Torque: 8 Nm (80 kgf-cm, 69 inch lbs.)
