Some 2004 model year Sienna vehicles may exhibit a M.I.L. "ON" condition with one of the following DTCs:
- P0748 (Pressure Control Solenoid "A" Electrical--SL1 Solenoid)
- P0798 (Pressure Control Solenoid "C" Electrical -- SL3 Solenoid)
- P0985 (Shift Solenoid "E" Control Circuit Low-- SR Solenoid)
- P0986 (Shift Solenoid "E" Control Circuit High -- SR Solenoid)

One of these codes may be stored as a result of Engine Control Module or ECM (SAE Term: Powertrain Control Module/PCM) manufacturing issues. Replacement of ECM will correct this condition.

APPLICABLE VEHICLES:
- 2004 model year Sienna vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Follow repair manual diagnostics for applicable DTC (P0748, P0798, P0985 or P0986) Refer to ETAS, 2004 model year Sienna Repair Manual:
Section: Diagnostics;
Subsection: SFI system; P0748 or P0798 or P0985 or P0986

2. If circuit tests OK per repair manual -- replace ECM.
