Component Inspection

INSPECTION
















1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
a. Check the resistance between the terminals of the switch when the switch is operated.
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly.




2. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (PASSENGER)




a. Check the resistance between the switch terminals when the switch is operated.
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly.




3. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY REAR




a. Check the resistance between the switch terminals when the switch is operated.
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly.







4. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH (FRONT)
a. Apply battery voltage to terminals 1 and 2.
b. Check that the motor smoothly rotates.

NOTE: Do not apply battery voltage to any terminals except terminals 1 and 2.

If the result is not as specified, replace the motor assembly.







5. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH (REAR)
a. Apply battery voltage to terminals 1 and 2.
b. Check that the motor smoothly rotates.
If the result is not as specified, replace the motor assembly.







6. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH (FRONT)
a. Apply battery voltage to terminals 1 and 2.
b. Check that the motor smoothly rotates.

NOTE: Do not apply battery voltage to any terminals except terminals 1 and 2.

If the result is not as specified, replace the motor assembly.







7. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH (REAR)
a. Apply battery voltage to terminals 1 and 2.
b. Check that the motor smoothly rotates.
If the result is not as specified, replace the motor assembly.







8. INSPECT POWER WINDOW RELAY (Marking: PWR)
a. Remove the relay from the instrument panel J/B.
b. Check the resistance of the relay.
If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.







9. INSPECT FRONT DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the courtesy lamp switch.
b. Check the switch resistance.
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly.
