Alarm Module: Testing and Inspection

TERMINALS OF ECU

Terminals Of Control Module/Pinouts - Check Transponder Amplifier:




1. CHECK TRANSPONDER AMPLIFIER




a. Disconnect the T5 amplifier connector, and measure the resistance between the terminal of the wire harness side connector and body ground.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.




b. Reconnect the T5 amplifier connector, and measure the voltage of each terminal of the connector.

If the result is not as specified, the amplifier may have a malfunction.

Terminals Of Control Module/Pinouts - Check Transponder Key ECU:




2. CHECK TRANSPONDER KEY ECU




a. Disconnect the T11 ECU connector, and measure the voltage or resistance between each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.







b. Reconnect the T11 ECU connector, and measure the voltage between each terminal of the connector.

If the result is not as specified, the transponder key ECU may malfunction.

Terminals Of Control Module/Pinouts - Check ECM:




3. CHECK ECM




a. Disconnect the E4, E5, E7 and E8 ECM connectors, and measure the voltage or resistance between each terminal of the wire harness side connectors.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
