Variable Valve Timing Actuator Position Sensor: Service and Repair

REPLACEMENT

1. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY COVER
2. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY
3. REMOVE VVT SENSOR

a. Disconnect the VVT sensor connector.
b. Remove the bolt and VVT sensor.

4. INSTALL VVT SENSOR

a. Attach a new VVT sensor to the cylinder head.
b. Install the VVT sensor with the bolt.

Torque: 6.5 N.m (65 kgf.cm, 58 in.lbf)

5. REINSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY
6. REINSTALL THROTTLE BODY COVER
