Introduction
As a result of the removal of the Short Pin, the "automatic open and close" and "jam protection" functions of the Power Sliding Doors will be inoperative due to loss of the Power Sliding Doors position memory stored in the microcomputer.

Therefore, please initialize the Power Sliding Doors after installing the Short Pin in its original location during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS) at the dealership.





NOTE:
Any time the battery terminal has been disconnected, initialize the Power Sliding Doors after reconnecting the battery terminal.

^ 2005 model year Sienna vehicles.





Warranty Information

Initialization Procedure

1. Fully close the power sliding doors.

2. Check that the power sliding doors fully open and fully close.





A. Check that the power sliding doors are unlocked. If not, press the transmitter switch or the door control switch.

B. Turn the ignition switch to the "OFF" position.

C. Check that the power sliding door main switch is in the "ON" position.

D. Check that the power sliding doors fully open and fully close by pushing the power slide door satellite switch or transmitter switch or power slide control switch.

NOTE:
Jam protection function becomes effective through the above initialization procedure.
