INTRODUCTION:
Some 2004 -- 2006 model year Sienna vehicles may exhibit a condition where the front seat side table will not lock into the stowed position because the front seat side table clip has broken. The front seat side table clip has been improved to correct this condition and is now available as a separate service part.

APPLICABLE VEHICLES:
- 2004 - 2006 model year Sienna vehicles.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Remove the front seat side table leg cover.
Using a screwdriver, disengage the claws and remove the seat side table leg cover.

NOTE:
To reduce the possibility of damage to the seat, tape the screwdriver tip before use.

2. Remove the front seat side table.
A. Remove the 4 nuts and the seat side table.
B. Remove the 2 clips and the seat side table bracket cover.

3. Remove the front seat side table clip by removing the 1 screw.
4. Install the NEW front seat side table clip and 1 screw.
5. Install the front seat side table.
A. Install the seat side table bracket cover and 2 clips.
B. Install the seat side table and the 4 nuts.

Torque: 13 N-m (133 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)

6. Install the front seat side table leg cover.

NOTE:
