CHECK DTCa. Check the DTCs.
HINT: If a malfunction occurs in the vehicle speed sensors or the stop lamp switch, etc. during cruise control driving, the ECU actuates AUTO CANCEL of the cruise control and blinks CRUISE main indicator light. This indicator light inform malfunction to the driver. At the same time, the malfunction date is stored as a diagnostic trouble code.
b. Check the output of the DTCs using diagnosis check wire.
1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
2. Using SST check wire, connect terminals TC and CG of DLC3.

3. Read the DTC on the CRUISE main indicator light.
HINT: If the DTCs are not indicated, inspect the cruise main indicator light circuit and the diagnosis circuit.
