Introduction
Some customers of 2004 - 2006 model year Sienna vehicles with rear heater may experience a difference in the vent outlet temperature of the rear roof vents when compared to the front center vents in low ambient temperatures. Improved HVAC control logic has been developed to address this concern.

This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

Repair Procedure
1. Remove the instrument cluster finish panel center No. 1.
2. Remove the instrument cluster finish panel center No. 2.
3. Remove the shift lever knob sub-assembly.
4. Remove the instrument cluster finish panel assembly center.
5. Remove the instrument cluster finish panel garnish.
6. Remove the radio receiver assembly with bracket.
7. Remove the integration control and panel assembly.
A. Remove the 4 screws and release the integration control and panel assembly.
B. Disconnect the connectors and remove the integration control and panel assembly.
8. Remove the air conditioner amplifier assembly.
A. Remove the plate.
B. Release the lock tab of the conditioner control and disconnect the cable.
C. Remove the 4 screws and the heater control housing.
D. Remove the 4 screws and the air conditioner amplifier assembly.
E. Reassemble the air conditioner amplifier assembly in the reverse order of disassembly.
F. Confirm the vent outlet temperature of the rear roof vents.
