Ignition Timing: Specifications

When using a hand-held tester or OBD II scan tool.
Ignition timing 7 to 24° BTDC at idle (Transmission in neutral)

When not using a hand-held tester or OBD II scan tool.
Using SST, connect terminals TC and CG of the DLC3.
SST 09843-18040
Ignition timing 8 to 12° BTDC at idle (Transmission in neutral position)
Remove the SST from the DLC3.
Ignition timing 7 to 24° BTDC at idle (Transmission in neutral)
