INSPECTION







1. INSPECT FUEL LID OPENER SWITCH
a. Remove the fuel lid opener switch.
b. Check the fuel lid opener switch resistance.
If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid opener switch.







2. INSPECT FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the fuel lid lock control assembly.
b. Apply battery voltage to the lock control assembly and check that the motor operates in the open direction.

NOTE: While using the battery during inspection, do not bring the positive and negative tester probes too close to each other as a short circuit may occur.

If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lock control assembly.

c. Check that the shaft strokes.

Standard: 10.3 mm (0.406 in.) or more

If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lock control assembly.
