DTC CHECK (USING SST CHECK WIRE)






HINT: If a malfunction occurs in the vehicle speed sensors or the stop light switch, etc. during cruise control driving, the ECU actuates AUTO CANCEL of the cruise control and blinks the CRUISE main indicator light. This indicator light informs the driver of a malfunction. At the same time, the malfunction is stored as a diagnostic trouble code.

Checking for DTCs.




1. Using SST check wire, connect terminals TC and CG of the DLC3.

2. Turn the ignition switch on (IG).
3. Read the DTCs on the CRUISE main indicator light.






HINT: If the DTCs are not indicated, inspect the CRUISE main indicator light circuit and the diagnosis circuit.
