INTRODUCTION:
Some 2006 model year Highlander HV vehicles may exhibit a M.I.L. "ON" condition with one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) stored as a result of an ignition coil malfunction:
- P0351 Ignition Coil A Primary / Secondary Circuit
- P0352 Ignition Coil D Primary / Secondary Circuit
- P0353 Ignition Coil B Primary / Secondary Circuit
- P0354 Ignition Coil E Primary / Secondary Circuit
- P0355 Ignition Coil C Primary / Secondary Circuit
- P0356 Ignition Coil F Primary / Secondary Circuit
The engine may not start, and may also have the following DTCs:
- P3190 Poor Engine Power
- P3191 Engine Does Not Start
- P0A0F Engine Failed To Start
Replacement of the affected ignition coil will address this condition.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
NOTE
It is likely that only one ignition coil is the cause of the DTCs, even if all ignition coil DTCs are present.
HINT
The malfunctioning ignition coil may have a discolored top surface.
