Crankshaft Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection
INSPECTION1. INSPECT CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
a. Measure the resistance of the sensor.
NOTE: The terms "Cold" and "Hot" refer to the temperature of the sensor. "Cold" means approximately -10 to 50 degrees C (14 to 122 degrees F). "Hot" means approximately 50 to 100 degrees C (122 to 212 degrees F).
If the result is not as specified, replace the crankshaft position sensor.
