Radiator Cooling Fan Control Module: Testing and Inspection

COOLING FAN ECU

ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION





1. CHECK COOLING FAN ECU (w/o Trailer Towing System)
a. Disconnect the B12 ECU connector.
b. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.

Standard resistance

Standard resistance:

If the result is not as specified, inspect the power source system (fusible link, fuse, wire harness and relay).
c. Connect the B12 ECU connector.





2. CHECK COOLING FAN ECU (w/Trailer Towing System)
a. Disconnect the B10 and B11 ECU connector.
b. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.

Standard resistance:

If the result is not as specified, inspect the power source system (fusible link, fuse, wire harness and relay).
c. Connect the B10 and B11 ECU connector.
