POWER STEERING: POWER STEERING ECU: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL POWER STEERING ECU

(a) Install the power steering ECU with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

(b) Connect the 4 connectors.

NOTICE:
Make sure that the wire harness of the steering post assembly is installed onto the power steering ECU bracket and that it is not pulled too tightly.

2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER Installation

3. INSTALL NO.1 SWITCH HOLE BASE Installation

4. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY Installation

5. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH Installation

6. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH Installation

7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH Installation

8. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side as for the LH side.

10. INSTALL COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY Installation

11. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL NO.1 Installation

12. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH Installation

13. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH Installation

14. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

15. PERFORM CALIBRATION OF TORQUE SENSOR ZERO POINT
