TCM

COMPONENTS:





REMOVAL

NOTICE: When the TCM is replaced, the existing transaxle compensation codes must be input into the new TCM.

1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
2. REMOVE BATTERY
3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET ASSEMBLY
4. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET
5. REMOVE INTAKE AIR RESONATOR SUBASSEMBLY





6. REMOVE TCM
(a) Turn the lock lever and disconnect the connector from the TCM.





(b) Remove the 2 bolts and TCM from the transaxle.

INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL TCM
(a) Install the TCM to the transaxle.





(b) Install and tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.
Torque: 11 Nm (112 kgf-cm, 8 ft. lbs.)





(c) Connect the connector to the TCM.
(d) Turn the lock lever and secure the connector with the lock lever.

2. INSTALL INTAKE AIR RESONATOR SUBASSEMBLY
3. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET
4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET ASSEMBLY
5. INSTALL BATTERY
6. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
7. PERFORM TCM REGISTRATION
