Air Conditioning Control Assembly (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL CENTER
3. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL CENTER
4. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
5. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY




a. Remove the 2 screws.
b. Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 clips.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

c. Disconnect the connectors and remove the air conditioning control.

6. REMOVE AIR MIX CONTROL SWITCH




a. Detach the 2 claws and remove the air mix control switch.

7. REMOVE BLOWER CONTROL SWITCH




a. Detach the 2 claws and remove the blower control switch.

8. REMOVE AIR VENT MODE CONTROL SWITCH




a. Detach the 2 claws and remove the mode control switch.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL AIR VENT MODE CONTROL SWITCH

a. Attach the 2 claws to install the mode control switch.

2. INSTALL BLOWER CONTROL SWITCH

a. Attach the 2 claws to install the blower control switch.

3. INSTALL AIR MIX CONTROL SWITCH

a. Attach the 2 claws to install the air mix control switch.

4. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY




a. Connect the connectors.
b. Attach the 3 clips to install the air conditioning control.
c. Install the 2 screws.

5. INSTALL RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Radio Receiver)
6. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL CENTER
7. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL CENTER
8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
9. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

a. Check the SRS warning light.
