Variable Valve Timing Actuator Position Sensor: Service and Repair

VVT Sensor:

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
2. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD
3. REMOVE VVT SENSOR
a. Disconnect the VVT sensor connector.
b. Remove the bolt and VVT sensor with the bolt.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL VVT SENSOR
a. Attach the VVT sensor to the cylinder head.
b. Install the VVT sensor with the bolt.

Torque: 6.5 N.m (65 kgf.cm, 58 in.lbf)

2. INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD
3. INSTALL THROTTLE BODY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
