Transmission Temperature Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair
ATF TEMPERATURE SENSORREMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT NO. 1 OIL COOLER INLET TUBE
(a) Remove the 3 bolts and 3 clamps.
(b) Using SST, disconnect the oil cooler inlet tube No. 1.

2. REMOVE TEMPERATURE SENSOR
(a) Disconnect the temperature sensor connector.
(b) Remove the temperature sensor.
(c) Remove the O-ring from the temperature sensor.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL TEMPERATURE SENSOR
(a) Coat a new O-ring with ATF and install it onto the temperature sensor.
(b) Install the temperature sensor.
Torque: 29 N*m (300 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf)
(c) Connect the temperature sensor connector.
2. CONNECT NO. 1 OIL COOLER INLET TUBE
(a) Using SST, tighten oil cooler inlet tube No. 1.

Torque: 34 N*m (350 kgf*cm, 25 ft.*lbf)
(b) Install the 3 clamps and 3 bolts.
Torque: 12 N*m (122 kgf*cm, 8.9 ft.*lbf) for bolt A
5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf) for bolt B
