DTC B1901/73 Open in Front Driver Side Pretensioner Squib CircuitDESCRIPTION
Detection Condition:
The front pretensioner squib LH circuit consists of the center airbag sensor and the front seat outer belt LH.
This circuit instructs the SRS to deploy when the deployment conditions are met.
These DTCs are recorded when a malfunction is detected in the front pretensioner squib LH circuit.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTE:
- When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal while performing repairs, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
- After the ignition switch is turned OFF, the navigation system requires approximately 90 seconds to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch OFF, wait 90 seconds or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
HINT:
- Perform the simulation method by selecting "check mode" (signal check) with the intelligent tester or Techstream.
- After selecting "check mode" (signal check), perform the simulation method by wiggling each connector of the airbag system or driving the vehicle on various types of roads.
