2AZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR





(a) Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring of the sensor.

NOTE: Make sure that the O-ring is not cracked or jammed when installing it.





(b) Install the camshaft position sensor with the bolt.
Torque: 9.0 Nm (90 kgf-cm, 80 in-lbf)
(c) Connect the camshaft position sensor connector.
2. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY (Removal)

3. CHECK FOR ENGINE OIL LEAKS
4. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (Installation)
