DTC B2060 - ABS Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when a malfunction in the vehicle stability control system is detected. This circuit consists of the master cylinder solenoid (skid control ECU) and seat belt control ECU. Signals are sent from the master cylinder solenoid (skid control ECU) via the CAN communication line.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)
(a) Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally How to Proceed With Troubleshooting.
OK:
DTC U0122 is not output.
HINT: DTC U0122: Lost Communication with Skid Control ECU

NG -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (DTC U0122)
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK DTC (VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM)
(a) Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Trouble Code.
(b) Clear the DTCs. Pre-Collision System
(c) Check for DTCs. Pre-Collision System
OK:
DTC is not output.
NG -- GO TO VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM (DTC CHART)
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK DTC (PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM)
(a) Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision / Trouble Code.
(b) Clear the DTCs. Pre-Collision System
(c) Check for DTCs. Pre-Collision System
OK:
DTC B2060 is not output.
NG -- REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU
OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK
