DTC B2272 - Ignition 1 Monitor Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when a malfunction occurs in the IG1D output circuit, which is between the IG1 No. 3 relay actuation circuit inside the main body ECU and the IG1 No. 3 relay.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (IG1 RELAY MONITOR (OUTSIDE))
(a) Use the Data List to check if the IG1 No. 3 relay is functioning properly.

Main Body





OK:
When the engine switch is turned on (IG), ON is displayed on the Techstream.
NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK WHETHER DTC OUTPUT RECURS
(a) Clear the DTCs. Smart Key System
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG), wait at least 10 seconds, and check whether DTC B2272 is output.

B -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU
A -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)





(a) Disconnect the E1, 2A and 2D main body ECU connectors.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU
