DTC B2275 - STSW Monitor Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when the engine start request signal circuit inside the main body ECU is open or shorted.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK WHETHER DTC OUTPUT RECURS
(a) Clear the DTCs. Smart Key System
(b) Depress the brake pedal with the engine switch on (IG), wait at least 15 seconds, and check whether DTC B2275 is output.

B -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK
A -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - ECM)





(a) Disconnect the E4 main body ECU connector.
(b) Disconnect the A38 ECM connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. INSPECT MAIN BODY ECU





(a) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
HINT: The voltage is generated at terminal STSW for 0.3 seconds when the engine cranks.

Standard Voltage:






NG -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU
OK -- REPLACE ECM
