EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: ROOF CARRIER: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL ROOF CARRIER ASSEMBLY
(a) Clean the threaded surface on the vehicle body with a non-residue solvent.
(b) Apply adhesive to the threads of the 10 bolts.
Adhesive:
Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, Three Bond 1324 or equivalent
(c) Install the roof carrier with the 10 bolts.
for labeled A - Torque: 39 Nm (398 kgf-cm, 29 ft-lbf)
for labeled B - Torque: 31 Nm (316 kgf-cm, 23 ft-lbf)
(d) Adjust the roof rack support position and tighten the roof carrier caps.









2. INSTALL REAR ROOF RACK LEG COVER LH
(a) Attach the 2 guides and 4 claws to install the cover.
3. INSTALL REAR ROOF RACK LEG COVER RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.





4. INSTALL CENTER ROOF RACK LEG COVER LH
(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the cover.
5. INSTALL CENTER ROOF RACK LEG COVER RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.





6. INSTALL FRONT ROOF RACK LEG COVER LH
(a) Attach the 2 guides and 4 claws to install the cover.
7. INSTALL FRONT ROOF RACK LEG COVER RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.
