Taillight Circuit
DESCRIPTION
The main body ECU receives a light control switch information signal from the headlight dimmer switch, and illuminates the taillights.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (TAILLIGHT)
(a) Operate the Techstream according to the steps on the display and select "Active Test".
Main Body
OK:
Taillight turns on/turns off.
NG -- INSPECT FUSE (TAIL)
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
2. INSPECT FUSE (TAIL)
(a) Remove the TAIL fuse from the main body ECU.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPLACE FUSE
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - BATTERY)
(a) Disconnect the 2A ECU connector.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR COMBINATION LIGHT - MAIN BODY ECU AND BODY GROUND)
(a) Disconnect the 2C ECU connector.
(b) for LH:
(1) Disconnect the K4 light connector.
(2) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(c) for RH:
(1) Disconnect the L3 light connector.
(2) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU
