Rear Power Window RH Auto Up / Down Function does not Operate with Rear Power Window Switch RH
DESCRIPTION
- If the auto up/down function does not operate, the cause may be one or more of the following:
- The ECU in the power window regulator motor determines that the power window regulator motor has not been initialized.
- The power window regulator switch has a malfunction.
- The Hall-IC in the power window regulator motor has a malfunction.
- There is an open or short in the wiring between the rear power window regulator switch and the rear power window regulator motor.

PROCEDURE
1. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
Result:
E -- GO TO LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
D -- GO TO DTC B2313
C -- GO TO DTC B2312
B -- GO TO DTC B2311
A -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR RH)
(a) Check that the rear door power window RH moves when the manual up/down function of the power window regulator switch is operated Component Tests and General Diagnostics.
OK:
Rear door power window RH moves.
NG -- OTHER PROBLEM (GO TO PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE)
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR RH)
(a) Use the Data List to check if the power window regulator motor is functioning properly Scan Tool Testing and Procedures.

OK:
The Techstream display changes according to operation of the rear power window switch RH.
NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH RH - REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR RH)
OK -- REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH
4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH RH - REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR RH)
(a) Disconnect the J3 switch connector.
(b) Disconnect the J4 motor connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
5. INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH RH
(a) Remove the rear power window regulator switch RH Removal.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH
OK -- REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH
