COMPONENTS





REMOVAL

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart.

1. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (Removal)

2. REMOVE DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (Removal)

3. REMOVE DECK BOARD NO. 2
4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRAY (Removal)

5. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX REAR (Removal)

6. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY
7. REMOVE DECK TRIM COVER REAR (Removal)

8. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (Removal)

9. REMOVE REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP LH
10. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH (Removal)

11. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH (Removal)

12. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER LH (Removal)

13. REMOVE QUARTER WINDOW ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Using a knife, cut off the moulding as shown in the illustration.

NOTE: Do not damage the vehicle body with the knife.





(b) From the interior, insert a piano wire between the vehicle body and glass.
(c) Tie both wire ends to wooden blocks or similar objects.

HINT: Apply protective tape to the outer surface to keep it from being scratched.

NOTE: When separating the glass, take care not to damage the paint and interior/exterior ornaments.





(d) Cut the adhesive by pulling the piano wire around the glass.
(e) Disengage the spacers and clips.
(f) Using a suction cup, remove the quarter window assembly LH.

NOTE: Leave as much adhesive on the vehicle body as possible when removing the glass.

14. CLEAN QUARTER WINDOW ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Using a scraper, remove the damaged clips and adhesive sticking to the glass.
(b) Clean the outer edge of the glass with white gasoline.

NOTE: Do not touch the glass after cleaning it.
