2AZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
NOTE: Make sure that the O-ring is not cracked or jammed when installing it.





(a) Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring of the sensor.






(b) Install the sensor with the bolt.
Torque: 9.0 Nm (90 kgf-cm, 80 in-lbf)
(c) Connect the sensor connector.
2. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP Installation

3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
4. CHECK FOR ENGINE OIL LEAKAGE
5. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER Installation
