3MZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: ECM:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL ECM BRACKET NO.2





(a) Install the ECM bracket with the 2 screws.
2. INSTALL ECM BRACKET





(a) Install the ECM bracket with the 2 screws.
3. INSTALL ECM





(a) Install the 2 wire harness clamps.
(b) Connect the 5 ECM connectors.
(c) Install the ECM with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)
4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH LOWER PANEL RH
5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY NO.1
6. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Repair Instruction - Initialization).
