INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT: Confirm that other components such as indicators and meter gauges function normally before performing the following procedure.

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (DRIVER SIDE)





(a) Disconnect the connector from the front seat inner belt assembly (Driver side).
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:





NG -- REPLACE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (DRIVER SIDE)
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY - COMBINATION METER)





(a) Disconnect the C7 and B10 connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
