2TR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR:
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
(a) Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring of the camshaft position sensor.
(b) Install the camshaft position sensor with the bolt.
Torque: 8.5 Nm (87 kgf-cm, 75 in-lbf)
NOTE: Make sure that the O-ring is not cracked or jammed when installing.
(c) Connect the camshaft position sensor connector.
2. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Torque: 3.9 Nm (40 kgf-cm, 35 in-lbf)
