1NZ-FE STARTING: IGNITION SWITCH:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL IGNITION OR STARTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY





(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the ignition or starter switch assembly.
(b) Connect the connector.
2. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER





(a) Install the screw indicated in the illustration.






(b) Turn the steering wheel to the left and install the screw indicated in the illustration.






(c) Turn the steering wheel to the right, and install the screw indicated in the illustration.
3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)
