HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: ROOM TEMPERATURE SENSOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system Service Precautions.

2. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
3. REMOVE LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER Removal
4. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER Removal
5. REMOVE STEERING PAD Removal
6. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY Removal
7. REMOVE LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER Removal
8. REMOVE UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER Removal
9. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LH Removal
10. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH Removal
11. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY Removal
12. REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE (w/o Smart Key System) Removal
13. REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE (w/ Smart Key System) Removal
14. REMOVE ROOM TEMPERATURE SENSOR





(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Disengage the air hose.
(c) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the room temperature sensor.
