INTERIOR: ROOF HEADLINING: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF SILENCER PAD
(a) w/o Sliding Roof:
Install the 5 No. 1 silencer pads.
(b) w/ Sliding Roof:
Install the 2 No. 1 silencer pads.
2. INSTALL NO. 3 ROOF SILENCER PAD
(a) Install the No. 3 silencer pad.

3. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF WIRE
HINT: Perform this procedure only when replacing the roof headlining.

(a) Install double-sided tape to the area marked on the roof headlining.
HINT: Make sure that dirt or foreign objects do not stick to the adhesive of the double-sided tape.

(b) Install the roof wire to the double-sided tape.
NOTE: Make sure the roof wire harness is attached securely.

4. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF HEADLINING SUPPORT
(a) Install the No. 1 roof headlining support.
5. INSTALL NO. 2 ROOF HEADLINING SUPPORT
(a) Install the No. 2 roof headlining support.
6. INSTALL NO. 3 ROOF HEADLINING SUPPORT
(a) Install the No. 3 roof headlining support.
7. INSTALL NO. 4 ROOF HEADLINING SUPPORT
(a) Install the No. 4 roof headlining support.
8. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY
(a) w/o Sliding Roof:
(1) Install the headlining with the 4 clips.
(b) w/ Sliding Roof:
(1) Install the headlining with the 2 clips.
(2) Connect the connector to the sliding roof drive gear.

(c) Connect the roof wire connector.
(d) Install the wire harness clamp.
9. INSTALL SUN ROOF OPENING TRIM MOULDING (w/ Sliding Roof)
(a) Install the sun roof opening trim moulding.
10. INSTALL SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR COVER RH Installation
11. INSTALL CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT TETHER ANCHOR COVER Installation
12. INSTALL REAR ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY

(a) Attach the 4 claws to install the assist grip.
13. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP COVER (for Rear Grip)
(a) Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 assist grip covers.
14. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Attach the 4 claws to install the assist grip.
15. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP COVER (for Front Grip)
(a) Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 assist grip covers.
16. INSTALL ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY Installation
17. INSTALL MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY Installation
18. INSTALL VANITY LIGHT ASSEMBLY Installation
19. INSTALL VISOR HOLDER

(a) Set the claws of the visor holder as shown in the illustration.
(b) Insert the visor holder to install it.
20. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the visor.
(b) Attach the visor to the visor holder (A in the illustration).
(c) Attach the 4 claws to install the visor bracket cover.
21. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY RH
HINT: Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

22. INSTALL REAR ROOM PARTITION NET HOOK LH

(a) Install the net hook with the 2 screws.
23. INSTALL REAR ROOM PARTITION NET HOOK RH
HINT: Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

24. INSTALL INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)

(a) Attach the 8 clips to install the garnish.
25. INSTALL INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)

(a) Attach the 8 clips to install the garnish.

(b) Connect the rear No. 2 seat belt outer shoulder anchor.
(1) Connect the shoulder anchor with the bolt.
Torque: 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)
(2) Attach the 2 claws to close the seat belt anchor cover.
26. INSTALL INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH ASSEMBLY RH
HINT: Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

27. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)

(a) Install the belt hanger to the deck trim side panel.
(b) Connect the power outlet socket connector.
(c) Attach the 4 clips and 5 claws to install the deck trim side panel.
(d) Install the 2 screws and 2 bolts.

(e) Connect the rear No. 1 seat belt outer floor anchor.
(1) Connect the floor anchor with the bolt.
Torque: 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)
(2) Install the anchor cover.
28. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)

(e) Connect the rear No. 2 seat belt outer floor anchor.
(1) Connect the floor anchor with the bolt.
Torque: 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

(f) Connect the rear No. 1 seat belt outer floor anchor.
(1) Connect the floor anchor with the bolt.
Torque: 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)
(2) Install the anchor cover.
29. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)

(a) Install the belt hanger to the deck trim side panel.
(b) Attach the 4 clips and 5 claws to install the deck trim side panel.
(c) Install the 2 screws and 2 bolts.

(d) Connect the rear No. 1 seat belt outer floor anchor.
(1) Connect the floor anchor with the bolt.
Torque: 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)
(2) Install the anchor cover.
30. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)

(a) Install the belt hanger to the deck trim side panel.
(b) Attach the 4 clips and 5 claws to install the deck trim side panel.
(c) Install the 2 screws and 2 bolts.
(d) Connect the rear No. 2 seat belt outer floor anchor.
(1) Connect the floor anchor with the bolt.
Torque: 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

(e) Connect the rear No. 1 seat belt outer floor anchor.
(1) Connect the floor anchor with the bolt.
Torque: 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)
(2) Install the anchor cover.
31. INSTALL TETHER ANCHOR BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)

(a) Install the tether anchor bracket with the bolt.
Torque: 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)
32. INSTALL RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL LEVER BEZEL LH (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat) Installation
33. INSTALL RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL LEVER BEZEL RH (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat) Installation

34. INSTALL REAR DECK TRIM COVER LH (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)
(a) Attach the 4 claws to install the trim cover.
(b) Install the bolt.
35. INSTALL REAR DECK TRIM COVER RH (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)
HINT: Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

36. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE

(a) Attach the 6 claws and 6 clips to install the finish plate.
37. INSTALL BACK DOOR WEATHERSTRIP
(a) Install the back door weatherstrip.
38. INSTALL REAR FLOOR NO. 1 MAT SUPPORT SIDE PLATE

(a) w/o Rear No. 2 Seat:
(1) Attach the 7 clips to install the side plate.
(2) Install the 4 screws.
(b) w/ Rear No. 2 Seat:

(1) Attach the 8 clips to install the side plate.
39. INSTALL REAR FLOOR NO. 3 BOARD
(a) Install the rear floor No. 3 board.
40. INSTALL REAR FLOOR NO. 2 BOARD
(a) Install the rear floor No. 2 board.

(a) Install the tonneau cover.
50. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM POCKET SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)
(a) Install the package tray trim pocket.
51. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LH

(a) Attach the clip to install the garnish.
(b) Install the 2 screws.
52. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH RH
HINT: Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

53. INSTALL LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LH

(a) Attach the 2 claws and 2 clips to install the garnish.

(b) Connect the front seat outer belt floor anchor.
(1) Connect the floor anchor with the bolt.
Torque: 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)
(2) Install the anchor cover.
54. INSTALL LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH RH
HINT: Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

55. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
(a) Install the rear door opening trim weatherstrip.
56. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH
(a) Install the rear door opening trim weatherstrip.
57. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

(a) Attach the 9 claws and 2 clips to install the scuff plate.
58. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

59. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
60. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH
(a) w/ Curtain Shield Airbag:
(1) Remove the piece of cloth or nylon.

(b) Install the 4 wire harness clamps.

(c) w/ Curtain Shield Airbag:
(1) Install 2 new clips to the front pillar garnish.
(2) Attach the 3 claws and 2 clips to install the garnish.

(d) w/o Curtain Shield Airbag:
(1) Attach the 2 clips and 3 claws to install the garnish.
61. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH
(a) w/ Curtain Shield Airbag:
(1) Remove the piece of cloth or nylon.

(b) w/ Curtain Shield Airbag:
(1) Install 2 new clips to the front pillar garnish.
(2) Attach the 3 claws and 2 clips to install the garnish.

(c) w/o Curtain Shield Airbag:
(1) Attach the 2 clips and 3 claws to install the garnish.
