2UZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL: POWER STEERING OIL PRESSURE SWITCH: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL POWER STEERING OIL PRESSURE SENSOR
(a) Install a new O-ring to the power steering oil pressure sensor.
(b) Apply a light coat of power steering fluid to the O-ring of the power steering oil pressure sensor.





(c) Using a 24 mm deep socket wrench, install the power steering oil pressure sensor.
Torque: 21 Nm (210 kgf-cm, 16 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
- Do not allow foreign matter to contact the oil seal face of the power steering oil pressure sensor (connecting surface with pressure feed tube).
- Be careful not to damage the O-ring when installing the power steering oil pressure sensor.

(d) Connect the power steering oil pressure sensor connector.
2. INSTALL AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY Installation
3. INSTALL THROTTLE BODY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
4. ADD POWER STEERING FLUID
5. BLEED POWER STEERING FLUID On-Vehicle Inspection
6. INSPECT FOR POWER STEERING FLUID LEAK
